That horse and wagon stops at the Mahone Bay Centre where the Mahone Bay Nuseum hosts its annual gingerbread house decorating event. I am very ambivalent about the Hallowe'en  trick or treat business and anything else that stuffs  children with too much junk "foods".  Not everyone feels that wa, y and for those who have no problem with the concept, this is a free happening for children 3-12. It is held on Sundays from 1 until 3 pm and is open to kiddies in the company of an adult. Pre-registration is at 624-0890. The Museum is a non-profit organization and won't turn down donations. One note of caution: Remeber that old witch and her gingerbread house? We are not told the fate of those two children after tyhey disposed of her and were left with a massive sweet-tooth habit! How aboutoffering a non-edible counterpart?
